At Slap Studios we offer not only rehearsal time but also but multi-track project recording services. We strive to provide excellent sounding tracks in a relaxed recording environment at really affordable rates. We use state of the art professional technology such as ProTools to give you the most flexibility and control over your final product. We offer casual, personalized service and flexibility to best accommodate the needs of your project.

When it comes time to add sound to your multimedia project, it’s natural to attempt to record directly with the computer. But your sound quality often suffers due to cheap microphones, audio hardware limitations, poor room acoustics and even the noise of the computer itself. And what do you do when you need to add music —maybe a soft guitar background?
Our high-quality microphones, digital recorders, sound processors and mixing equipment can help you create the best quality recordings of your voiceovers, sound effects and music. Your completed recordings can then be put on an external medium for transfer to your computer system, or we can upload the audio files to teh cloud in the format you need. We can also arrange to hire talented voice professionals for the best voice-over results.
Studio Design Services
Low frequency energy is a problem in all small studios and that’s why intelligent recording studio design is essential. Selecting the correct room size and more importantly, the low frequency room treatment, is paramount to achieving good balanced sound. As the bass goes, so does the room sound quality. For that reason, room size is critical. There are certain ratios of width, height, and length that keep room modal pressures equally distributed. Finding those sizes and matching the dimensions and volume of the room with the musical usage is what we do. We also provide design and setup assistance for your project studio, from specification to equipment selection to wiring and troubleshooting.
