Welcome to Minislap Recording Studios, one of the best independent recording studios in South Jersey. The evolution of Minislap started in Philadelphia in 1999 when musician Donal McCarthy opened Slap Studios, a low cost recording and rehearsal facility that became famous for its quality recordings. For 10 years, Slap Studios worked with hundreds of musicians from all over the tristate area and established its engineers as some of the finest in the region.

In 2009, the Slap Studios lease ended and Donal moved the operation to a smaller location in NJ; Minislap studio was born. Totally refurbished in late 2015 Minislap Studios has been completely renovated by Donal McCarthy and Dave Dworandczyk, whose vision with the team of audio engineers is to make this recording studio one of the best in terms of results, working environment, equipment and rates. Minislap today represents acoustics that you can trust, a ton of equipment, efficiency, confidence and a wealth of experience.
